How do I Use Answers 24x7?

1. Click where it indicates "Click To Ask a Question."
2. Another webpage will open. Please fill out the form, then type in your question and click on "Connect."
3. You will chat with your Answers librarian in the top part of the screen.
4. You will receive information from the librarian in the bottom part of the screen. You might receive Web pages or other information to answer your question.
5. To view a website, click on the web address in the chat area. This will open a browser window where the website will load.
6. When you're done chatting, click on "End Session." at the top of the screen.

Web Access Recommendations:

• 128kb/sec modem or faster connection.
• Please set your browser to allow cookies.

Answers 24x7 works with the following browsers and operating systems:

• PC: Operating System:  Windows 2000 Professional with SP4, Windows XP Home with SP2, Windows XP Professional with SP2 ; Browser:  Internet Explorer 7.0, Internet Explorer 6.0 with SP1, Netscape 7.2, or Firefox 1.0.6.
• APPLE: Operating System:   Apple Operating System 10 (OS 10) ; Browser:  Firefox 1.0.6 or Safari 1.2
• LINUX: Operating System: Redhat Linux WS v3 ; Browser:  Firefox 1.0.6
